Did you enjoy blogging to respond to the book? Would you like to do this again for another book? Why or why not?

I think blogging can make the students felt more free and easy. I think this is better then using writing on papers. I think I would like to have this type of assignment again.(And now the economy is not very good, we should increase income and decrease expenditure, to save oyr pocket o_O|||) And it could also economize more times to do more things.
Lots of teachers have their own website used for teaching. And in the future, there might be no writing but blogging. Teachers could also easily know what we have learned. And I think websites are clearly and neat; manuscripts are more complicated and more in disorder. And if we need some pictures, sometimes we also have to use a computer.
So I think BLOGGING is better then HANDWRITING.

Just like what Blossom said, I think that blogging can save trees and paper and money... :D
I mean, blogging is actually a good way to learn because as you blog, you may see many other people's opinions at the same time and you can compare your own with theirs. And you can say many things you want to say just by typing it (sometimes there are not much space for ME to write on paper). Also, I think having a website for students to blog is easier for teachers to put our assignments together.

Compare to writing handouts, I think blogging is better. As Blossom said, blogging is more free and easy, this can make student want to have English class. Things we write can also be typed out, we won’t write more but blog less. Also, writing novel packet is too boring and students may copy each other’s answer. But blogging is more interesting and student won’t copy answers (We can tell if this happen), also we can share our opinions and know other’s thought. Another point is that blogging is a new trend of society, through blogging, was can keep up with other’s pace.

I think that blogging to respond the book is a great and exciting way for replacing writing handout and I do enjoy this type of way to participate with the book. If we are going to read another novel I think this time should do half hand writing and half blogging. For examples, we should write when the answer to the question are short and easy so some of us could improve our handwriting (like me ),and when there is a project we can use the blog to finish the work.
I'm kind of disagree and agree with Blossom. Although blogging can can save our pocket but in the mean time it is also decreasing our chance to use brain to think because maybe some one could post a mixture of all the comment for there comment ( I'm not saying that someone did such thing and definitely not saying that I'm doing such thing) the most important thing is using computer is also one of the way that causes the global warming. But at last I still think that blogging is a little smaller than tiny bit better than writing.

It is such a shame that I didn't get to post for the first comment on this topic. I think that for sake Emilie, get the next website ready and we'll be ready to blog another round! Blogging makes learning faster, since you must browse some websites in order to get wanted imformation, and it's easy to see how classmates are doing, comparing this way could save a lot of time!

Writing is a skill that seems some what teadious in this modern world,
though it is still important to write, learning should be leveled in each different ways. We've been doing novel packets since junior one, and I can see that mostly we're getting sick of it. Also, blogging is just like conversing, you talk and discuss about whatever you know about and learn from other's opinons. It's also the
kind of magical word that would trikle down your spines every time you say it.

The Illusionist's magic ends here, SHEZCAPBLAZE!!!

I think blogging is a very good way to do this kind of assignment, beacause first, you can do your homewok anywhere and anytime. The only thing you need is...computer!
And also, there's no problem such as forgetting to bring assignments. Your assignments are just on the Internet. I think it makes me easier and more convenient to do my homewok. And just like Blossom said, using the Internet can save money and trees. But the most important thing I thought is: after blogging, I can play computer games! Yeahhh!^U^

Blogging is a way to post your thought to the topic or the project. That's any easy and practical thing to do, use the technology to help us be better in our life, and we don't need to write lots of words for a long time.

This blog is a good educational space to use, we can see lots of responses from other classmates, taht is, we can learn and realize what other's thoughts easily, so I thought we can still use it in junior three.

Yes, I really enjoy blogging to respond the book. Ah, I think to use this way to express some of my views on the book is very interesting. Compare with the most common way, use pen and paper, I think use this way to express our reading experience is much more fun. And if we share those ideas in the classroom, maybe we can not listen those ideas clearly or maybe we can not quite remember what the other students said about their content or the views they expressed. To use the way Blogging, we not only thought very clear first then type them out to play on the Internet, other students can also clearly see that the idea of the others. And compare with the way of write our ideas out, it takes less time on blogging. With so many advantages, of course, I also hope we can continue use such a way to respond to the next novel!!

I think blogging is more fun than writting handout. You can see other's opinions and you can practice typing. I like to go to computer room. It's will me expect English class. And not only our classmates, but also many others can look at the ideal we post.

I will want to blogging for the next book.It can save me much time to what I need to do.As Bloosom said, it can also save the trees and the papers and money.I think blogging is a good way to share your ideal!

Blogging is a new way to let students have a new way to do projects. This new way can let us to be more relaxed when we are doing the projects. (Well, PC classroom is cleaner than normal classroom) And when we have a new idea, we can post it on to the internet right away. We don't have to keep remenbering the idea until we have the tools to work on. We can do our projects at home. We don't have to bring it to school and turn it in.(Or lost it)
Also, Internet is a convenient tool. We can work on our project without wasting things such as papers, pen & pencils. Now there is a big pile of studying documents that is useless or overtimed. I don't now whether to throw them away or not. So if we use blogging as a new way to hand in our projects, there is no more paper piles!! "."
So I think that blogging is a new and good way to turn our assignments in.

Truly speaking, I have same idea with others. I enjoy blogging expect for research. It is much better than writting on paper and presentation. Another reason is we can use thursday to do the "blogging homework" insdead typing at home. I will agree to do it again next time. It is a way that can learn others' thought about the book or character, learn how to make the sentence more smooth, and expressing the thought clearly by reading others' sharing.
After writing the homework on paper may easily lost, but for blogging, not single word will miss after checking.
That's all my comment.

Comparing to just write handouts, i think blogging is absolutly a better way to express our opinions. Blogging makes us feel easy and free, we can have lots of fun in it, and by looking and comparing with others' post, we can also think deeper and actually come out with something better. I wish that we can use blogging FOREVER!

I think bloging is fun because you can do it anywhere and because questions are not restrained and is very easy to post comments but some of them are a little hard. Mostly, I do like this way of writing report of books and actually because of my terrible hand-writing I think computer posting is a lot easier than hand-written reports. And like what Claire said I think this way show our feelings easier and it's easy too to look at what others thinks and you can use other's comments for consultations. (smile~)

I like it~~! It's because it made the book more interesting. And it made me want to read the book. we don't need to write a lot of words and sentences and we can also save our earth at the same time. In this days computers help us a lots. They make our life more convenient and safe times. So I think blogging is a good idea~

Maybe just find.I didn't really like or dislike it.It's easy to forget, so I will lost points on this project. But I also think using computerto to do such things is a new way for learning. We can learn a lot from this too.So maybe I would like to do this on next book too, and I can try harder to learn.

I think blogging is a great way to write homework. I can do the homework anytime. i also don't need to bring the paper to the class, teacher will go to the Internet to check our homework. when i am blogging, i can search some information very easily. Just open another website. I don't need to put down my pen and turn on the computer to search the information i want. We can save much time, too. If we turn the handout to the teacher, we need do it in the school day. But now, we can just turn in it in the weekend or anytime i want. So i think blogging is the better way to do homework.

There are two different kinds of feeling of this subject.

Firt, the subject is an computer-work, but my typing is realy realy terrible. I usually have to type almost a half hour for a post. So I do not realy like this subject.

But the other feeling is that I like this subject. Because of this work, I can have a strong reason to ask my mom to allow me to use the computer. And I can also prectise my terrible typing. It is a two benifits work!

I will rather vote for blogging than writting handouts! I think blogging can share out everyone's thought about the book. I think the atmosphere is better by blogging. Everyone must enjoy using computer than writting boring handouts.
So i think it is a good way to exchange ideas by blogging, and make discussing novels interesting.

In my opinion blogging is better than tests or hand writtings. I like it because I like to work with computer. Writting sometimes make me feel tired and I think no one like tests. The most important thing is that I can turn it in at anytime, it is more convenient for me.

Yes, I enjoy blogging very much. Like what everyone said, when we are blogging, we can look at other people's opinions, and compare it with our own thoughts. We can get all kinds of different ideas and understand the book better, I think it is really great! Also, typing the computer and writing an assignment simply feels different. Using the computer feels more open, and when I'm posting, I'm not afraid of expressing my thoughts. I would like to do this again for another book if we have the chance!

I think blogging is more easier than writing packages, but not everyone can use computers all the time. I prefer writing packages, becausce sometimes when you have the same idea with the one that was already posted, we can't post it, or esle it would looks like we are copying others work. But in the other way, using computer is more cheaper than writing packages, because it won't need to use lots of paper and use lots of pencil or pen. And also, if we are using the internet, we don't need to draw any artwork or make the packages looks messy, it would be clean enough by using the internet.

I think blogging is good! Just ike what Blossom said, it's free and easy, and agree what Linda said, blogging cansave trees and money(Energy Saving and Carbon Reduction...right?)

I think blogging will make students more interesting than handwritting. Blogging may make students pay attention on English class, and students can have a happy clss too!! We can saw other classmates opinions and have long time to think, to answer. Handwritting may not let us know other classmates opinions.
I enjoy to blogging, it's free and easy, I think it's a good way!!

I like blogging, too. to type is more relax than to write, it wont let our hand had muscular pains. I think it is more easy ot read, too.
AS Blossom said, computer will be more popular for teaching so I think it this also can let us be familiar with using computer. I would like to do it again for another book, and next time I think I would need to begin to blog quickly, not at the last moment.

I think blogging is a good way to do an essay, it's even a tendency. Blogging online takes less time than writting tons of paper work. In addition, you can never loose or cause a damage to your work with publishing your comment on a blog (unless you delete it), so students don't have a exuse of forget bringing their homework or words like "My dog ate my homework!"......@@
Another good thing of blogging is you would have to think deeply through the story, only searching the main idea of the book on google can not help you give a great answer to Emilie's questions, and thinking helps us learn more!

Yes. I think it is the best way, because I hate writing, it makes me feel boring and tiring, so I like bogging.
In fact, using computer make nothing bad unless the eyes, but writing needs paper, paper need trees, so we must safe our environment. Bogging, no writing.

I like blogging to respond the book. I think the routine homework won't make me forget to do it. And the second reason I like blogging is that we can see other classmates' opinion on the net, and sometimes if I don't know what's going on in the book, reading others' opinion can help me to understand that. I think I would like to do this for another book, as I said, it's easier than turn in works on papers.

NO!NO!NO!
Can we write handout next time when we are discussing the next novel??
I really don't like to blog like this way because I don't like to use computer so often.( My mom also don't like to let me use computer so often because she thinks I always play online games while I am using it. )
And at blog days, most of that time is my best time reading the book.( or I am a little lazy on blogging on those days... )then I need to spend more time on it when I go home.
Also I am not really good at typing(I need much much time to type a blog comment)(I type as slow as a turtle running!!!)so...I wish next time we can write handout although many classmates on my top (comments) love blogging and talks about the benefits of blogging.(save paper, save money, can play computer, more freedom, neater , or no more reasons like "my dog ate my homework" and so on)
BUT I STILL WANT TO WRITE!!!!!!!!
(NO MORE BLOGGING PLEASE!!!!!)
