Because Ma died, there was some changes between Billie Jo and her father. First, at p.76, she beecame not liking to eat with her father. She felt awkward and irritated during the time eating with her father. I think it's the first change because at the time when Ma was still there, she never had that feeling. Second, she called her father as "My Father." The connection between her and her father was gone, or broken. It shows that Ma was the connection between Billie Jo and Daddy. This is very sad because there's still a long way to go, they should get along with each other and try to get through this difficult time, I think.

Because of the death of Billie's mother, her and her father's relationship seemed to be changed. I think Billie started to call her father "My Father". This word seemed "not so close" to their relationship. I think Billie might have a kind of hateful feeling toward his father. When her mother was in a painful situation, her father went out and drink. That might be a relax to the nervous feeling for her father. But his lover was hurt badly and he went out to drink. That was ... Well, kind of strange. But, now her father was her only person to rely on. They had to find out the way to get along without Billie's mother.

After Billie's mother died, Billie started to called her dady "My Father". This shows us that their family relationship was broken. I think they need to find a way to get together. They needed to get along or this will make their situation more worse. They needed to rely on the other person to overcome mom's death.

They started not to eat dinner with each other and Billie Joe called him "my father". And the way Billie Joe described her father differently. She thought that his father is an unfamiliar person and she only describe about how she feels about her father and less about the words or sayings he said. I think that it's because that maybe she doesn't take her Daddy as closed friend or family member any more. I think that just after her Ma died she can't understand why that her father drunk all her mother's saving up. I think she just can't stand why his father did this maybe as to forget the death of his wife or something. Like what Jeff Lee said maybe Billie just can't stand why her father can sit there drinking, while her mother was in big pain. I think that she really wants to know why her father can leave his loved and drink at this horrible time, she just considered her father as a foolish, stranger at that time.

I can feel that after Billie Jo’s mother dead, the interaction and the attitudes between Billie Jo and her father have changed significantly. Maybe Billie Jo is self-reproach to that accident, but she is also not able to understand that before the days her mother dead, her father did not stay home take care of her mother but went out to drink. Billie Joe and Billie Joe's dad were both ashamed and uneasy about the death of Billie Jo’mother and the baby, therefore even Billie Jo and her dad concern each other, they still have a bone in the throat to reconcile the situation because their personality is similar, and there’s no body like mom can help them communicate with each other. So although the two lived in the same house, they seemed to be the strangers.
And from the beginning that Billie Jo called her father "My father" instead of "dad", I could also feel that their relationship seems to be different, unlike the previous close as before.

Because of the accident, Billy Jo's mom died, and it changed Billy Jo and her dad's relationship. She started to call "My Father" instead of "Daddy". I think their relationship was broken and seems like Billy Jo doesn't want to be so close to her dad. Her father went out to drink during the accident, and I think this is the turning point. Although her father seems to be not responsible, but I think Billy still needs to find out a way to get along with her father, to get through her mom's death.

It is another very important changing in Billie Jo's life. The relationship changed totally after the dieth of her mother. Changing begins from the accident that cause her mother almost dying to knowing the bad news of both her mother and baby die. It is easy to find out that the way Billie Jo calls her father changes, meaning the relationship are getting further and futher. It is a hard time for Billie Jo to overcome, she needs to find the way to fix this endangerly damaged family.

The terrible accident made Billie Jo's Ma died. She thought that was her father's fault, but others thouhgt it was her fault, so Billie Jo and her father's relationship became far far away, or should be broken. It is easy to know it in her poetries everywhere, especially when she wrote about her father, she used to called him as" Daddy," but she changed to called him" My father."
It wasn't good tohave these situations be happened because her father was her only family member in this world. Also their life weren't very well. She needed her father to live or to do anything. I think they must to talk to each other to think of a way to get through this situation and her maher's death.

After Billie Jo's ma died, two of them have some change. Before, Billie Jo call her father "dad", after the accident, she start to call her father "my father" and begin not to eat dinner with him. They seems like became a stranger, even thought two of them were living together, and they seldom talk to each other. I think that was because Billie Jo couldn't forget what her father do when the accident happen. She couldn't forget her father went out to drink and he drunk all her mother's saving up. Afterward, Billie Jo feel like her father was following in her mother's step she can found her mather smell on her father, what he do, seems a like her mother, and she following in her father's step, everythight she do just like her father do. I think it may be a another changing relationship!

Billie Jo and her father's relationship began to change after her mother's death. It seemed like Ma was the bridge between Billie Jo and her father, so when Ma died, it looked like there is nothing that can connect them together; Billie Jo and her father were just doing their own things and nothing can fill the emptiness of the family. Also, I think that their relationship had changed was because Billie Jo coud never forgive her father drinking outside when Ma was dying, and her father knew that he was wrong but didn't know how and what to say to Billie Jo, and then formed a gap between the father and the daughter. Last but not least, Billie Jo started calling her dad "my father" instead of "daddy" and I think it's because she knew her mother was gone and that she had to depend more on her self nad be more mature since she doesn't feel very kin to her father.

Beacause of Ma's death, the relationship between Billie and her father has been changed. She thought that was her father's fault. Her father knew that he was wrong but didn't know what to do. And she started to call him "my father". IT shows that their relationships was not as close as before they used to be.

After mom's death, Billie's relationship with her father changed immidiately. There were some gaps and misunderstandings between them. Billie could not forgive her father for not staying with her mom, even got drunk! You can see the obvious changes in the book. Billie use "my father" instead of "daddy" that she used to use to call her father. I think when Billie's mom was still alive, she is the connection between Billie and her dad. Now she's dead, and suddently billie lost the "medium" to express her feeling to her father. Plus, Billie was hateful of her father's behavior during mom's death. That may deepen the hateful feeling. I think Billie would have to take a long time to overcome this.

Billie Jo changed after her mother died. She thought her father was irresponsible, because her father was drunk when mother had a hard time. She stared to call him "my father". It show that the relationship became worse and the family is almost broken after her mother's died. Although Billie was not happy to her father, they are still a family, they should pass this hard time together.

Biilie Jo and her father was having a remote relationship. They did't know what to talk after Ma died.Billie Jo couldn't forgive what his father did at that night, she couldn't understand why his father did that. Also because of the external pressure, she felt wronged with people's misunderstood.I think Billie Jo's father was having a hard time, too. He didn't know how to face Billie after he realized that his wife was died. Beside, he might probably still stray in the death of his wife. Those reason made them have unspoken misunderstanding between each other.

Their relationship change because of mom's dead, they become like strange, not actually like a family. I think it was because Billie thought that mom died, father was the part of reason, so she become to hate his father.

Billie and her father's relationship changed after her ma died. She think it's her father's fault and her father thinks it's Billie's fault. Her ma is the connection bewteen Billie and her father, so after her ma died, it's more difficult for Billie to relate with her father. After Billie's ma died, her father doesn't gave her any consolation and the people around them blame at Billie, I think at this moment the thing that Billie really need is the love that family can give, but her father doesn't gave any, so maybe this is one of the reason that she began to hate her father. Maybe if her father gave Billie the love that Billie needs, it can redeem their relationship.

Billie Jo changed after her mother died. After that she started to call her daddy "My Father". The reason I think is that she thinks her mother's died is her father's fault, so their relationship became broken, and need to find a way to get together with her father.

After the death of Billie Jo’s mother the relationship changed between Billie Jo and Billie Jo’s father. Billie Jo no longer called her father “daddy” instead of “my father” because Billie Jo think the death of her mother was her father’s fault. Billie Jo would think that it is her father’s fault because when the accident occurred her father was drunk and her father doesn’t care about Billie Jo’s mother. This causes the relationship between them to fall apart.

Because of the accident, the relationship between Billie Joe and her farther became worse and worse. It showed that Billie’s mom was extremely important and connected Billie and her dad. Billie started to call her dad “My father” it was great example to show the relationship between them became further.

Even though their relation got worse but they are still a family. So I believed that Billie and her father would find a way to overcome this situation.

Because of the death of Ma, like the destruction of Billy and her father's connestion. Everyone seemed to blame on Billy Jo for the accident, she got a lot to take, but her father's seemed to have no responsibility, and i think it kind of made Billy have some hatred of her father. It's pretty sad to have the accident happened, the situation was bad enough, but i think it's going to get even worse.

After the terrible accident, the relationship between Billie Jo and her father begins to change. Before the accident, Billie Jo called her father "Daddy". After it, she called him "father". We know something from it: they are not so close like before. They are far away from each other. Billie thought the accident is from her father. Her father thought it was Billie Jo's fault. Everyone thought it was her fault, too. Billie Jo began disliking her father.
