The End

Did you like the end of the novel? Why or why not? What would you change about the ending?

It was perhaps the best ending in all books us Jumior 3 advanced people ever read. In the end, was an amazing experience of how the author posed the last season. Except for plain forgivness and classical reunions, she added in Louise to morph in the elements of freshness. Things would probably still seem awkward to Bayard even after the apologies and revolution.

Yes, I think this is a very good ending. There’s parts of the outcome are the same of what I predict, like the resumption of the parent-child relationship between Billie Jo and her father. And, of course, which also happens because of Louise, in a timely manner to help Billie Jo and her father have better parent-child relationship.

If I can change the outcome in part, I would hope that Billie Jo's mother did not die. And as Billie Jo's father’s economic situation and circumstances gradually changed better, Billie Jo's mother’s physical condition is gradually improving too. This is what I hope to change.

I think I like this ending. Billie Jo and her father's relationship became better. At the end, Billie Jo's dad forgave her and accepted her. They were not extremely sad and sorry any more. They had fun and were happy at the end of the story. Billie Jo finally overcame her fear about her mother's and her little brother's death. We can kow this on page 227 of this novel. It says that Billie Jo catch her reflectionin the mirror, and stretch my fingers over the keys. Then she finally played the music. It also shows that she could communicate with Ma through her meaningful piano. It became a valuable time to think of her mother and think back of the time with her mom.

I like the end of the novel because it was kind of like a happy ending. The whole "Out of the Dust" was sad, and finally the end was a little bit happier. Also, I think that the end of "out of the dust" kind of teach a lesson of family ,forgiveness and about rebuilding one's self-confidence. I think at the end of the story, Billie Jo changed, she became more mature and learned to accept the things around her, not just complaining. For all the reasons, i liked the end of "out of the Dust".

I don't like the end very much.Maybe because it's different from what I expect,I don't want Billie Jo's mother died, so I was a little upset about that! But it seems to be the best ending of all!
Billie finally forgave her father and started to called him "Daddy",and their relationship became stronger! When I first knew the character of Louise,I though Billie Jo will loathe her or argued with her just like What I always read, but they just had fun together!Billie Jo even accepted her! It's make me a little surprised!I like this arrangement!

It may be a great one, extremely perfect one. Billie Jo overcome lots of different thing that had interfered her once before, including playing piano, the death of her mother, and the love-hate-relationship between her father.
She could finally do the everything as nothing had happened, like the days at the front of the book. The miss of her mother and mother's baby wouldn't bother the life that Billie Jo live. It is a very difficult thing. And the courage to play the piano that once she had promised would never played with is also a very hard choise.
Although experenced lots of things that bother her in life, ending the story in happy one is great.

The ending of this book is pretty book but I’m not satisfied to the ending. At the end of the story, it tells the final relationship in Billie Jo’s family, and they have a better family. Billie Jo can live with her father happily again, and Louise appeared in their life to comfort them and took the place of Billie Jo’s mom. The change of their spirit made me feel glad, but it didn’t really tell their physical life. I would want to now if their physical life is coming better. I would like to know if they have foods to eat, water to drink. And I also want to know if the storm ends. So I think the ending isn’t well enough.

Yes, I like the ending. Billie Jo is so kind. She finally accepts Louise. This is a happy ending that I want. I think Billie Jo, her father and Louise will be a happy family. Although Billie Jo's mother died, Billie Jo and her new mother will get along with each other. I really like it!

I think it's a really good ending to me, comparing to whole sad story, it's kind of amazing to have emergence of happiness. In the end, Billy Jo forgave his father by calling him "Daddy" again, symbolized the recovery of their relationships, and impressively, she overcame the sorrow before, and accepted Louise as a mother. I really think that they would get along well with each other as a family until forever.

I like the end of story, Billie Jo actually is a grown-up girl at the end of the story. I think the setting of mom's dead make the story, and Billie Jo didn't break down and fall at the end of story, so it is a happy ending. To be a reader, eventhrough mom's dead really surprize me and made me feel sad, but I think it is the most importent part of the story, so I think there is nothing need to change.

Yes, I like the ending of this story very much. It makes this story in hard time seems better. I like this happy ending to conclude this rough time I don't want to change anything in this book (mostly) because I think every part of the story have its symbolization and they foreshadows the afterward parts. From Ma's death to the breaking relationship and to Louise, I think if it misses any part of it the whole story will be different. So I think the author use word meaningful and so that's why I don't want to change it.

I like the ending, but I think it was similar to "Walk Tow Moons." Billie Jo didi what Sal did. They both forgave their fathers, and their fathers' new girlfriend. It is kind of happy ending. Everyone likes happy endings! I think the ending is successful because it is a happy ending of a sad story.

I “think” I like the ending of the book although it wasn’t the most “perfecto” one but I was kind of surprised by Billie Jo’s kindness. At the end of the story Billie Jo overcome the death of her mother and her little brother and the most important is Billie Jo forgave her father and except Louise. If I could change something I wouldn’t let Billie Jo’s mother die and Louise would still be in the story but it will only change to a story of two women fighting. (But I would let her little brother die because I like story with one child.)

I like this ending. It's a happy ending! This ovel always give me a sad feeling, it's good to have a happy ending!
At the end, Billie Jo and her father's relationship become better, I'm glad to saw that! When I saw Louis appear in the book, I thought that Billie Jo might hate her, just like Sal, but it wasn't, Louis make Billie Jo and her father's relationship become better, it's surpris me.

If I could change, I hope that Billie Jo's mom could still alive, and the have a good family and good relationship, and thier economy sitiuation could be better, that is, they should have a good life!

I like the ending. It is a happy ending. We can see that Billie Jo go through those frustrated things and finally get some better life. We can also learn that we should accept and forgive other people. Billie Jo also changed into mature and rebuild the relationship between Billie Jo and "Daddy".
I like the ending, the happy ending

I really like the end of the story. Comparing to the end of WTM, this ending was much more happier. First, Billie Jo finally forgave her father. On p.205 and p.206 said,"...I call him Daddy for the first time since Ma died," "As we walk together, side by side, in the swell of dust, I am forgiving him, step by step." I am very glad that they forgave each other. Second, she had Louise in her life. Though she called her as "the other woman" at first, but till the end, on p.218 it said,"And what I like best about her, is Louise doesn't say what I should do. She just nods. And I know she's heard everything I said, and some things I didn't say too." I think Louise was just like another mother of Billie Jo, who listend to her voice, listend to her heart. Third, she forgave herself. On p.206,".., I am forgiving myself for all the rest." I think it was the most important because she could finally get out of the shadow of Ma and Franklin.

I don't like this ending. At first the story heppened just like the events that will really happen in the ture world, but I think the ending is not realistic. I just think that not every story has a happy ending and of course, Billie Jo's story can't be this kind of happy ending, because this story begins with a sad way, so this is really an impossible ending.

I think it is great that the relationship between tha father and Billie Jo become better! But the only thing I think it is a little unfortunated is that Billie's mother died.
